11x17 all in one printer comparison

Hey, I'm looking to buy an all in one printer that prints and scans. Scanning is the biggest deal for me because I have many books/sketchbooks/drawings I would love to scan.

I am between HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 and Brother Printer MFCJ6930DW. Both are being offered on amazon at very comparable prices. Both have their share of positive and negative reviews.

Does anyone have any particular input or experience regarding these machines, or have a suggestion for a different printer that is better with the aforementioned features?
