Moderately used Canon Pro 1000, 2 1/2 years old, made many wonderful prints. One day it just stopped powering on. Tried previous advice about unplugging power chord and waiting up to an hour (which had work once before with same problem). Tried calling Canon support and no help and telling me life expectancy is only 3 years for printers - also saying it could need a new power supply, but they do not offer repair service for and I should just buy a new printer. Tried to find someone reputable to work on it but impossible to find. Now debating about just buying a new one, which is a bit of a scary proposition.
