3rd party replacements ... toner and drum for HL-L2360DW?

I recently picked up a used HL-L2360DW printer in VG condition. It so far has worked well.
The page count is 17152. How high can I go before expecting problems?
This is my first Brother printer. I have used HP Inkjets in the past.

One issue is that it is flashing a message to replace the drum. The toner has a fair amount left.
So far the print quality is nice with no artifacts so, I could perhaps put off replacing the drum.
Instead, I'd rather start with a clean slate . Therefore I plan to go ahead and replace the drum.

I was wondering about 3rd part supplies, like a drum and also toner cartridges. Are there any to stay away from?
Do they usually work well, without compatibility issues? The recommended Brother brand drum is not cheap.

Thx

The HL-L2360DW can handle over 20,000 pages, so you're not likely to face issues yet. Replacing the drum now is a good idea, even if the toner still has life, since drums wear out around this point. For 3rd-party supplies, they can work fine but be cautious with very cheap brands as they might cause quality issues or damage your printer. Look for well-reviewed, compatible options for toners and drums to avoid problems. Brother's brand is reliable, though pricier.
