My printer's a Kodak ESP 1.2 - No hint of a problem until today. I've just eyedropper'ed 2 drops of warm water onto the spongey material on the cartridge. I'm going to give that a while before doing anything else.
I just figured this was a well known issue, with (fingers crossed) a well known solution. Not low on ink at all, used the "Clean printhead" option and "Calibrate printer" ( Which is the image attached, which until then I didn't even know it was a problem only with printing black-ink.
Save me printerforums.net, you're my only hope
