Background all of a Sudden printing in Black

I just tried to print a copy of a form my husband needs, I scanned it, than went to pr int it, in the preview window it showed the form, in black with white ink, thinking it would just print normally as always I hit print and it came out with all black for the background and white for the ink. I am hoping its just maybe a setting I may have to change, any help would be great I have an HP Deskjet 1050A all in one J410 series. Thanks in advance. Sandie
