Hey guys... I'm part of a small business looking to expand and send out thousands of postcard. Getting them printed seems like a chore let alone costly, even though the quality is pretty good. Last ones were
6.5"x9" (16pt glossy stock)
UV treatment
Full color, double sided
Destination addresses printed from a spreadsheet
It cost $440 for 2500. But this was a mistake in size... from now on I will be using something around 6"x11.5".
But I would like much more control over when I print, QTY, and size etc....
My poor old Canon MP530 is very good but can only feed 6-7 sheets at a time, which can obviously be a bit vexing.
What is the best printer, laser or ink jet, say about $200 or less, than can handle the 16pt or maybe 14pt paper and can print at least 50 at a time?
And one more consideration is that my MP530 is a bit jerky on the feed, so sometimes the print is not straight, that annoys me. I would love a machine that has a good but "softer" feed as to keep the paper straight in line coming into the machine.
I hope this makes sense.
