Best value printer?

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a new printer on a budget of around £50. I am swamped with all the information out there! can anyone guide me please. Just want to print documents and pictures etc for children. I have tried kodak, but had major problems with sofwear with xp, hence I sent the printer back. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I would recommend the following as they type of printer to use!

Cannon MP280. Search for the name of this printer and you will see that it has mostly postive reviews. The hardest thing is what you are looking for with your price point but I think that this would be something for simple printing that you are looking for. Good luck!

Can you manually refill the ink cartridges ?

I will also recommend you to use cannon laser printer. I think that you can manually refill cartridges for it and can do this personally as well.
