Black toner smudges in margin

I have been trying to deal with black toner marks on my DCP-L3550. They are very similar to the marks seen in this picture.
I have cleaned the toner drums, the inside of the machine and the belt unit. I have also replaced the black cartridge, but I still have the same marks on my printing. Does anyone know what else I need to do to resolve this problem?
