I run a family owned jewelry store and I am currently running two POS machines and have a slow HP color laser jet printer for my sales slips. I find myself ordering and replacing the color toners every month. What I am looking for is a fast printing black and white laser jet with two paper trays so I can have my preprinted sales slips in one and plain paper in tray two. Any suggestions as to brand and model? I've found Brother being one of the best for business. Figured I'd see what you guys have to say before I begin spending money.
I also was thinking, to prevent faxing. I run a virtual machine between both of my stores. Is there a way, if I get a networkable printer, that people are my other store can print at this local printer? For example, my book keeper can print the numbers from the day before rather then faxing them to me.
