Blocked by Windows Security

I have an Brother MFC-J6710DW (or something close to that) and a new Windows 11 machine. I downloaded the files from the Brother website, but install them stopped when it said Windows security was blocking me.

I don't know WHAT in Windows security of stopping me or how to fix it

Suggestions?

Open Windows Security. Click on Virus & threat protection. Under the “Current threats” section, click the Protection history option. Select the file or application you want to allow.
