Booklet stapling

I hope this makes sense: I’m wanting to make a 20 page ‘blank’ booklet by passing plain paper through the copier and then using the ‘staple’ function to save me stapling approx 200 booklets by hand. I will use the bypass tray to attach a cardboard front and back cover which will have a design on. Obviously the booklets will be blank so the only ink that will be used will be for the cover. If the copier is leased, will I be charged for just using the staple function?
