Hey all!
I was away from home and it seems my subtenant had killed my printer (alongside other things...)
It's a Brother DCP 1512.
at the beginning it said there's no ink. I opened the hood and it looks like there been an ink spill somewhere.
I cleaned what I could. I put a new cartridge but it printed full black. I tried cleaning the roll on the cartridge holder and also the corona wire.
It jammed a few times afterward it made lighter gray pattern. only a few pages in my printing attempts had any text (the PDF i sent to printer) on them.
Any idea of something I could try before I send it to expansive repair?
Thank you
