Brother HL-2270DW on Windows 98

I was wondering if there was any way to use a HL-2270Dw on a windows 98 pc. I can't upgrade the OS as the system isn't powerful enough. Iv tried the windows 2000 driver regularly and with kernel ex and still no luck. I also tried the generic with no luck either. Iv tried with usb and network
