Brother HL-5470DW Poor Print Quality

I have a relatively new Brother HL-5470DW putting out very poor quality print: fuzzy, a bit of a "ghost" letter - like you had set the font to "emboss"or "engrave" I was also having jamming troubles and I changed out the fuser. No jamming now, but still terrible print quality. I have pulled the fusor assembly out and blow it out with air - no improvement. have had Brother printers before - always worked like a champ, but not this one!
