Hello all,
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. My HLL2320D is new. I also have an older Brother HL-2040 that works fine on Linux.
The issue is that after a few days of not using the new printer, it will take 5-6 minutes for the job to print.
If I go into the printer queue and manually release the print job it will print right away. Then 5 minutes later the same print job will print again, even though there is nothing sitting in the print queue.
If I use the printer every day it will print when the PRINT button is clicked, and Not print the extra page. The HL-2040 has always worked right with Linux. I never needed to install any drivers for it. It just worked.
I'm older so break down the hi-tec talk into something I can follow easily. Just because I am using Linux...I'm not a geek, I just got tired of Windows and Billy's BS.
Thank You for your time
