Brother MFC-425 CN problem with feeding paper

I have a problem with my printer,it says on the LCD that there's a paper jam but theres actually no paper stuck.
It seems as if the problem is with the paper not feeding or the printer not "pulling" the paper,I mean it does make the sound of like trying to pull it just doesnt
