For some reason I can't install the printer driver for my Brother MFC-4420C. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1501 with Vista Home Basic. I downloaded the Vista complete driver and software package from the Brother website. I tried installing in safe mode also but to no avail. It installed the USB printer driver just fine but not the MFC-4420C itself which it always says in the installation log that the installation of it failed. Does anyone have any answers? I've used this printer in the past utilizing the fax and scanner features but have had no problems until recently after deciding to use it again.
