Brother MFC-J4535DW powers off at startup

When I turn on my MFC-J4535DW, it goes through startup and immediately powers off.
If either the printer cover is open or the print cartridge door is open, the printer stays on with cover open being displayed. Once they are closed the printer immediately powers off.

Any help is greatly appreciated
