Brother MFC-L8900CDW Scanning Issue

I have a Brother MFC-L8905CDW laser printer. Initially, I could scan documents of any size without any issues, and the page sizes were recognized correctly. However, after a recent update, I now have to scan different page sizes individually. I've spent hours on the phone with Brother customer service, but unfortunately, they haven't been able to help. It's quite frustrating! Is anyone else experiencing this problem since the latest update?
