Brother MFC wont scan to file until PC is restarted

Brother MFC wont scan to file until PC is restarted. I have this problem on two different models in different locations.

Win 7 Pro 64 bit
Firewall disable
Power Mgmnt set to Always on PCs
Static IP set on both MFCs
Uninstalled reinstalled latest drivers and software
Running Control Center 4

PCs are not shut down at night. Users just log out. One is in a domain, other is in a workgroup. Same issue.
Any tips or solutions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
