I have a Brother MFC-J700D. Lost track of when it was bought --- at least six years ago.
Recently the print quality keeps getting worse. See attached photo. The one on the left was printed a year ago, the one on the right was printed today. The colors in the file are all the same, but the orange is coming out so much muddier, and the lines in the gray area are so much more obvious.
I tried running the "clean" function of the printer, but it doesn't help. Is the only recourse to replace the printer, or is there something that can be done to get it back to its former quality?
