Concur. Especially stay away from printers that have "combined multi-color inks in the same cartridge" ... three or more dye ink colors in a single cartridge. And especially if each new cartridge purchase involves a new print-head.
Unless, your printing volume is very, very low.
And in that case,
* remember to do nozzle checks to avoid clogs
* or better, figure out how to do without a inkjet printer
