I have been a loyal Canon printer user for as long as I can remember, and the only way I could possibly fault them is regarding print quality after extended use, especially black ink cartridges. It doesn't seem to matter which series I use, after a certain length of time, black ink print quality goes down the pan and the only way to rectify it is to buy a new cartridge. I always fit ink tanks to my printers and so I suppose I get good value from each cartridge.
Now I have bought a Pixma G2000 printer which has a built-in ink tank. It's working fine and the print quality is really good. What is concerning me a bit is what happens when the print quality takes a dive? Does anyone know if replacement cartridges are available? And where they are available from? I cannot find any info on any Canon site.
