Canon imageCLASS D420 has "set paper again, set toner again".

I have canon printer D420, just buy a few week ago, but it often display message "SET PAPER AGAIN, SET TONER AGAIN ". and I exchanged the same product but the same error still happen on new one. i tried to pull the cartridge out and put it back, replaced paper.Nothing worked. i find this problem on Google, somebody said they found a tiny piece of paper that must have been blocking the sensor. but I can't find any paper (even the smallest bit). you can give me a solution. thanks
