My Canon Pixma MP560 printer has been working fine since I bought it a few years ago. It is connected via WIFI to my Dell pc running Win XP SP3. Yesterday I received a message that my CLI-221BK Black cartridge was out of ink. I changed the cartridge but the black did not show. I did all the usual maintenance things (cleaned, deep cleaned ink jets, etc) but when I print the nozzle check pattern I get the C,C,C,M,M,M,Y,BK lines but no PGBK large black matrix pattern in the #1 position. I changed to a new cartridge and still no PGBK output.
The cartridges I use are rebuilt-refilled and I have used them since one year after I bought the printer with no problem. They are always recognized and worked fine.
