Hi everyone, I have a Canon MX 922 Printer, which was working fine for quite some time until recently.
Printing any documents would always have sections of a sentence blurred or missing. Several attempts to clean, and deep clean were unsuccessful. I recently read online about taking out the Print Head and cleaning that with distilled water.
I performed a careful yet full clean on the print head and let soak for 8 hours, and then carefully dried if off and let it sit for another 8 hours before putting it back in the printer.
I put it and the ink cartridges back in and printed the Print Check pattern" and the PGPK line had some missing sections in it, so i performed a clean nozzle. printed the check pattern, and it got a bit better, but still not how it should be. The rest of the lines / colours on the "print check pattern" are always fine. It's always and ONLY the PGPK line. So, I did the clean nozzle again. Printed the check pattern, and it got worse! Much less was printed than should have been. I then did a deep clean and printed again, and it was still screwed up with missing sections not being printed. I did another deep clean, and printed it again, and this time the PGPK line was pretty much not there. Only small traces of it was there.
Something is VERY wrong with my printer. I've uploaded the 5 Print check tests, and they are numbered in order of being done.
The 5th one shows almost the entire line not being printed at all.
(i'm using the back side of previously used paper (1 side good), so as to not waste a good sheet of paper for these tests - hence the read through on some of them).
If anyone can help me out, i'd greatly appreciate it.
