Do the PG-5 CLI-8 cartridges have a pre set number of pages (or ink flow) then the chip is permanently disabled?
i cant under stand how by just swapping the chip onto to new cartridge will get past the end count down timer page counter or whatever they use (if this is true?)
my own MP510 magenta went down to the point of saying it`s out of ink it would recognise the cartridge (even though i refilled reinstalled, pressed the stop/reset for 5 seconds.
put a new magenta in and bingo it`s ok again (new chip, new ink levels)
SO.... if they have a pre determined amount of pages they will print does that mean we are stuffed with refilling them?
