Canon Pixma 5650 64 bit Twain

I have just purchased a Canon Pixma 5650 printer. Nice machine and low running costs.

But, to my dismay there is no 64 bit Twain driver for this machine. I can scan to my 64 bit computer with the supplied 32 bit driver, but my copy of Corel Paintshop Pro X7 insists on using a 64 bit diver and, of course there isn't one, so it reports "No Scanner Found".

This means a two stage operation to scan, for instance, photos to the computer for editing. Worse than that, I really do not want to scan to a compressed image format. Are there any other Canon drivers that will work with this machine?

I have emailed to Canon support but no answer so far.

Canon sent a reply with a link to the software. After de-installing and reinstalling the new download, it's the same software that's on the disk! So still no 64 bit twain driver.
