Canon Pixma MG2550S Alarm lamp flashing 22 times.

I bought this PSC a few years ago to use in my holiday home but, due to Covid, never set it up. Just done so and I'm getting the alarm lamp flashing alternately with the power lamp some 22 times, Can't find any mention of this anywhere. Help! cartridges are new , are the FINE type and appear OK. No cartridge warning lights flashing. Haven't yet set up my Lenovo Chromebook in case that's the issue as there doesn't seem to be any compatible drivers.
