Hi everyone.
I have a roughly 3-year-old Canon Pixma MG5550 which has been working fine until a few days ago when, as part of its start-up, gives a support code 1403. The manual says that it needs a replacement print head and should be returned to a service centre. I suspect, however, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the printer and that it is just a software counter that has reached whatever level.
Due to the error code there is now no access to the menus to I can't access any settings to try and do a reset there. Does anyone know, therefore, how I can do a factory reset?
Many thanks for you help.
