Canon pixma mp560 turns off when preparing to print or copy, but scans just fine.
You send a print job to it or press the copy button, things start moving around and the screen shows "preparing" then suddenly it powers off completely and stops moving. I replaced the power supply unit and that did not solve the problem. Obviously it is not a computer driver issue. It seems that as soon as it starts to go through the printing process, before it prints even one drop of ink or even picks up paper, you can hear the print head moving and then suddenly the entire unit powers off.
Suggestions?
