Canon pixma mx492 problem while starting up

Hello all, I own a Canon Pixma MX 492 connected through wi-fi and runs behind windows, mac, and iPhone.The printer was great for the last 5 years but recently I face a problem. While starting ( I turn it off during the night ) it keeps on rebooting itself continuously for like 30 or 45 minutes. During this period I only see Canon splash screen on LCD whereas during normal functioning copy/scan icons are on display. Any ideas on how to fix this problem or what might be the cause?
