Canon Pixma TS8350 - Pause Printing

Hi

I have the above printer which often prints a few lines then spits out the page and goes into a paused state.If you then go into the printer queue and enter 'resume' it does the same again (although it thinks it has printed the document).
It does not do it every time. It seems it mostly has the problem when printing a document with an image.
Have tried the usual, turning off and on again, also resetting the printer.
Hope someone can help - it is driving me mad!!

Well thanks for the reply but it is not the problem. The Canon site gives the message 'This product is compatible with the operating system selected using AirPrint only, a driver is not required'. My operating system is Monterey 12.3.1
