Canon TR4500 and ink refill reset

Hello,
I've just refilled the black ink cartridge for this printer and the printer is still saying ink levels are low. Is it possible to override this? I've read elsewhere to press the stop/reset button for 5 seconds. When I do this I get a message about wi-fi setup, not sure why?
