Canon TS3100 series Black ink cartridge stuck

Hi all.
I have a Canon TS3100 series all in one.
I have had to change the ink cartridges & the black cartridge is stuck, it does move down when gently pushed(it clicks when moved up as it is supposed to do)but for the life of me I cannot get the damn thing out.

I admit to being a heavy handed bloke & dont want to break anything in the printer by forcing it.
Can anybody help with this please?

Problem solved. There was a very small bit of plastic, maybe a fault with the injection moulding? (It should not have been there) that was preventing me from taking the old cartridge out.

I took the printer apart, freed the stuck cartridge, filed down the bit of plastic, rebuilt the printer & the new cartridge clips in & out as it should do. Printer works perfectly now.
