CanonMGpixma 7550 printer not recognised on LAN

Hi all
My Canon pixma MG 7550 is cheap to run on cartridge sets at £12 and over years it has given good service BUT it has suffered occasionally from its present problem.
Neither my iPad Air nor my HTC10(Android) can recognise it!
The iPad Air was printing perfectly with it a few days ago but now the dreaded “no air printers detected” and on the HTC 10 “printer not available”
The printer had a paper jam which I cleared.
The printer shows the Virgin connection is established and the LAN is active.
I re established the connection with the modem-no difference.
The disable LAN option is not activated.
All practical suggestions appreciated.

Hi all
Problem solved-this time
Problem occurred after I noticed lightning in the vicinity the internet became unreliable but after it stabilised the printer was not recognised.
Finally went into the printer options and found the Full Reset option.
Printer now recognised by android and apple devices.
