Can't scan to computer

I have an Epson Workforce 2860 and a computer running Windows 10.

I installed the Epson Printer Connect software to my computer, but I can't scan to computer. I also can't scan to any of my Cloud accounts. The printer says it can't find the computer, nor any cloud account. I can print from my computer and from my various Android devices. Epson Connect furnished an email address so I can print from a remote location, and I've successfully used that.

In other words, the scanner is useless. The computer and printer are both connected to my home wifi, and the connection is working, because I couldn't print from my computer otherwise.
