Chip Resetting or ARC Cartridges

I can buy a chip resetter and reset my cartridge chips, or, I could by cartridges with ARC chips and fill and refill these cartridges.

Has anyone any thoughts regarding the merits or de-merits of these two options?

I bought or 2 Canon MP 610 and 620 and they work. Bought for Epson Stylus RX620 but haven't used yet.
