Copy both sides Canon Maxify MB5060

Any ideas on how to copy both sides of multi page documents from ADF to two sided output with Maxify MB5060? It scans and prints first side from ADF then immediately scans and prints the second side from the (blank) platen. The manual doesn't help (unless I've missed something).
Alas,this MB5060 appears to lack automatic double sided copying/scanning, unlike my almost dead 5yo Pixma MX-870.
