Does anyone recognize this part that fell out of my Canon G6050?

We recently had quite a paper jam. While removing pieces of paper from the printer, this part came with it somehow. It is about 2,5 inches big. The partcode is QC5-5897 V1-1.

We can't find where it came from.

SInce then, prints look a bit jagged, and we get error code 5100 all the time.

Sending the unit in for repair would be a big hassle, so we prefer to solve it ourselves.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I ended up sending the printer to Canon to have them fix it, and they repaired it. Turns out it was still under waranty.

Thank you for your reply. I've asked the online tech support of Canon, and he told me this part was print head cleaner, and might not be able to fix it ourselves.
