Ecological Printer (home use) using biodegradable ink

I would like to buy an ecological printer for home use using water-based and biodegradable ink. My first internet research was unsuccessful and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction?

I don't know about the brand manufacturers products available of this sort, and I tend to doubt all of them when it comes to environmental concerns. They're all environmental friendly, but they all make you toss your printer away in a few years.

So, I'd start by consulting the stores that sell alternative printer cartridges (or that refills empty cartridges).
Usually they have a broader knowledge about the available inks, such as the water-based and biodegradable.
Try to find these stores around where you live, or online. Contact them and ask. You'll have their recommendation for the ink and the printer.
