Epson 7710 "Close Ink Cartridge"

After installing new ink (cyan) and closing the cartridge cover and the printer lid, I get the prompt: "close ink cartridge cover" Nothing I do including re-closing the cover and restarting the printer will make that prompt go away, rendering the printer unusable.

When it says that, just use your hand and move the head slightly with your hand towards the right side and then proceed. Either press ok or start button
