Epson 7800 colour & black and white image

I have a poster to print that has a colour element and a b&w photograph element. Is it possible to get the printer to print the b&w element with just the black inks? So far I have found that unless 'Advanced B&W' is selected it will try and print blacks with the CMYK inks and give it a slight colour cast.
