Epson 7880 can't access maintenance tank counter

New tank installed but cannot get to the counter to reset to zero. Menu shows the tank as full but cannot reset from there. Tried the top, bottom and left arrows hold down on powering up but no advanced menu appears. The advanced menu gives maintenance tank counter access. Any ideas? Thanks.
