Epson 9900 "ink cartridge error"

Hi there. Have got an Epson 9900 that was in storage for a while. It all worked fine. Print heads and nozzle check looked good. did some prints and all working fine. I then got a message "Ink cartridge error-- replace cartridge" I got a new cartridge and get the same error message. Any suggestions to what I can do? Any help greatly appreciated. cheers

oh yes, re installed them all several times. in the end updated the firmware to the printer and that seems to have sorted it!
