Epson ET-2600 Black Blots.

My 8 week old Epson ET-2600 is leaving black ink blots in the same corner of 1 in 5 of my prints (always on the same left hand corner as it leaves the printer) I know when it is going to do it as there is a 5 second click click click click click sound before it happens. I have been talking to Epson as past 6 days and now they want me to record the clicking sound but I cannot be bothered having to wait a further 2 days before they reply to my latest comment so I think that I should return it as faulty and buy another Canon printer.
