Epson issues with JET-TEC and possibly other compatible cartridges

Hi guys,

I've been using JET-TEC cartridges for years with my R285, quality is great. However, occasionally EPSON's software identifies one or more of the JET-TEC carts as incompable and won't allow me to print. Sometimes if I humour it and go through the replacement procedure (simply removing and putting the same carts back in) it works, but often it will shut me out and I have to give up. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP, I'M GOING NUTS WITH THIS THING!!!!!!!
