This is not my printer.
To the best of my knowledge printing, scanning or copying was working until user left it too long without use and print heads needed cleaning.
I carefully cleaned print heads manually as described in a YouTube video.
After refitting the printer head and the white boxes that move ink to the printer head, I attempted to use Maintenace/head Cleaning. Following the instructions on screen when I get to last key press (bottom right diamond button) does nothing other than the screen showing to press diamond button again.
After a few seconds the screen changes to “Scanner error 100016 - see documentation“

The same error occurs with every function including printing, scanning or copying.
No surprise there is nothing in the printer manual about error 100016.
Any suggestions?
If I don’t get any suggestions I might do a printer reset and trust setting Up for mac is straightforward for owner (I will not have access to printer)
