Epson Print Layout with Windows 11

I'm trying to use Epson Print Layout on Windows 11 with an Epson Eco-tank 8550. On opening up Print Layout I'm met with the message "Printer not found. Install printer driver an restart application". As far as I can tell, I have the driver set up correctly, the printer appears under Printer & Scanners and has EPSON Universal Print driver assigned as its driver.
The Print Layout help document lists Windows 10 as the latest supported version. Has anyone else has experience with Print Layout on Windows 11? From looking around it sounds like my model of printer is supported by the software.
