This is my first post.
I have being using an Epson photo R800 with a ciss system for about 6 years now with little or no problems. It stopped working recently as the waste ink tank was full which I was expecting as a pop up notice warned me that internal parts were coming to the end of their service life. However I reset the ink counter with a sw tool and re-directed the waste ink tubes into an external bottle and all returned to normal. However photo printing is now very poor. I don't know if this problem occurred after the reset process as the problem is only noticeable when printing photos. I printed a 'color bar' test image which really shows up the problem. The yellow bar looks more like a dirty or olive green. Red is very pale etc. As a test I printed a yellow box image which appears ok. Yellow as part of a color bar is crap. I carried out he same test with red with similar results.
Hope I explained correctly. I don't have the proper photographic terminology. Sorry.
